Because I work in University Communications at Portland State University, sometimes I get to stand in as “talent” in photo and video shoots that promote our programs. I recently made my debut as a “professor” in a video showcasing PSU student, friend and colleague Naureen Khan. In it she talks about her experiences in PSU’s interdisciplinary, undergraduate University Studies program. Kudos to the dream team of Peter Simon, Kenny Katz and Evan Kirkley who produced it. My favorite part? Naureen’s closing. “Because if we can learn from each other’s differences, the world might become a less divided place.”
