I’m excited to announce that I've accepted a new position at Portland State University as Senior Communications Specialist in University Communications. While I’m sad to leave the School of Social Work community, I’m thrilled to be able to take my communications and public relations skills and expertise to new levels in a broader, university-wide role.

I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to serve as the School of Social Work’s first ever marketing and communications manager. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished in these past two years and look forward to my successor continuing the momentum we’ve built and taking the work to new levels. Most importantly, I’m appreciative of the amazing people I’ve had the honor and privilege of getting to know and working alongside in this chapter of my professional life.

PSU has a year of significant change ahead. Our new president is coming on board next month. We have a new VP of research. We’ll soon begin a search for a new provost. I’m looking forward to lending my skills to give voice to our important work ahead, as PSU continues to manifest its charge of bringing knowledge to our city, our state, and beyond.
